When I first heard about the three areas of Reliv—help people get healthy with optimal nutrition, teach others how to earn an income and nourish thousands of hungry children around the world—I knew that this was a company that I wanted to work with. All my passions are put together in one place!
As a nurse, I understand the role nutrition plays in our bodies and the importance of having it balanced for a healthy and preventative lifestyle. As part of my healthy lifestyle before Reliv, I worked out, drank smoothies, took many multivitamins, protein shakes, etc. When I learned that some Reliv products are Halal, gluten-free, and clinically-proven plant-based formulas, it got me so excited! Halal supplements are very important to me and not always easy to find.
I started noticing amazing changes and an overall feeling of wellbeing after I started taking Reliv products, and it was a significant difference from all the other supplements I had taken before. I started noticing improvements in the quality of my performance at the gym and found that I had more stamina and recovered faster. Those who have been working out with me for years also noticed the changes and they too wanted to learn what I was doing differently! These amazing results helped me share Reliv with loved ones and reach out to others to help them improve their health.
If we can raise awareness about the importance of eating right, increasing physical activity, and implementing supplements with optimal nutrition like Reliv, we can help people enhance their quality of life. I believe Reliv should be in every household, and I love sharing Reliv with everyone in my life!

Think you know what a portion of peanut butter looks like? Two tablespoons isn’t very much when you start smearing it on your bread. How about an actual serving size of ice cream? Who really only eats half a cup? That’s like three bites. And let’s not even talk about cereal. . . there’s an awful lot of room left in the bowl if you play along with what the side panel of the box says is a serving.
Portion distortion is a real thing. We have become so conditioned to the over-sized helpings served in restaurants that we have no basis for what is the reality when it comes to a reasonable serving size. There are so many packaged convenience foods and beverages that we think are single servings but actually contain two or more servings. We consume the whole thing anyway because we have been led to think a serving is MUCH larger than what it actually is. Always read labels! Even if you think you know how many servings there are in that little package of mixed nuts at the checkout, always check the label. You will probably be shocked!
One of the easiest mistakes to make with Fit3 is not understanding proper portion sizes. When you are getting started, I highly recommend using a food scale for a few weeks until you have overcome the propaganda from the food marketing industry and you get a handle on what is sensible. Every couple of months I get out my food scale and bring myself back to reality because we do have a tendency to wander off. Once you get a grasp of what a true portion looks like, you can put the food scale away and use our Easy Portion Sizes Sheet. This tool is so helpful with everyday portion sizes. Try putting it on your fridge for easy access.
What foods haunt you when it comes to sticking to a single portion? You already know mine: peanut butter, ice cream, and cereal. Funny how none of us have that problem when it comes to a salad!

Happy Galentine’s Day! Galentine’s Day is celebrated on February 13th as the day of women celebrating their friendships. It’s the perfect day to reflect on the value of our girlfriends!
The dictionary definition of a girlfriend is “a female friend who gives assistance; a supporter, a frequent and favorite companion.” However, girlfriends are so much more than that definition. They are business partners, neighbors, best friends, etc.
A good girlfriend is someone who is there to support you when you have something to celebrate, something to work on or something to cry about. She is there when you need the best medicine—laughter! She is there for late night chats about your day or to voice your thoughts and ideas that have been running in your head and desperately need to be said. Sometimes that chat is done via text or a phone call, or our favorite way, Marco Polo video texting. We get to see each other face-to-face, the smiles that just happen or sometimes the tears in our eyes as we share our hopes, dreams, and heartaches that we are experiencing.
The benefits of having a good girlfriend are beyond measure. That person always wants what is best for you and is there to share love and support—even in your business! She is there every step of the way. She knows how to give you that gentle push when you feel like you just cannot do anymore or to let you know how great of a job you’ve done and how proud she is.
A good girlfriend doesn’t let you go on stage at Reliv Live with sunglasses on your head or your sleeve half-rolled up. She is always looking out for your best interest. She is your biggest supporter outside of family!
The bottom line is that outside of family, every gal needs a good girlfriend to have her back, to support her, to laugh with, to push, to love, to correct, to cry with, to celebrate with and do life with. There’s just nothing else like having the support of your best friend as you create goals for yourself in your life and your business. We cannot imagine and would never want to imagine a life without having a good girlfriend or even a group of them to support us on our journey!
Know that it is okay to not have a good girlfriend yet. You can always find friendship in someone new! Here are some of the ways we find new friends and build relationships:
Join a workout group, a book club, or some other activity of interest. Just Google “Workout Group in [your city]” or “Book club in [your city]” and tons of results will show up. If not, organize your own!
Invite an old friend to a happy hour or coffee.
Say “yes” to invitations to dinner parties or activities.
Host a brunch, movie night or game night.
Attend a Reliv Girlfriends’ Getaway! Stay tuned to reliv.com for the next event announcement.
We had a blast at the Girlfriends’ Getaway because of all these reasons above and more. Finding a good girlfriend is a treasure and these events celebrate that and teach you how to do business with your girlfriends! We cannot wait to see what Reliv has planned for Girlfriends’ Getaways in 2019.
Start filling your pipeline by having a daily plan of action. How many NEW people are you talking to on a daily basis? How many appointments are you doing weekly?
Reach out to customers and Distributors. Find out what is new in their life and tell them how excited you are about all the great things that are going on with Reliv. Connect them to stories and share the promotion. Show them the benefits of becoming a Quick Start or a Master Affiliate. Find out who wants to work toward the Hawaii trip and work with them!
Send videos to prospects, customers and Distributors through Reliv’s Mobile App and then make sure to follow up.
Plug into conference calls, meetings, trainings, webinars, Facebook Groups and in-home presentations. Talk to your upline and any organization you have available in your area. Do these with other people!
Make use of the tools available, including the new Product Training Cards to learn the product inside and out, and Shake Party Box to help build your business and get to your next Director level.
Just do it! Make it happen! You deserve it and it will definitely be worth it. See you in Hawaii! Aloha!
Have you ever thought about becoming a Reliv Distributor? Well, I sure didn’t. In fact, for two years I said “no” on multiple occasions. I was a young, career-focused woman, enjoying city life with my husband. We were living a fairly healthy lifestyle and definitely were not looking for another job. But it’s funny how things happen because it wasn’t too long before I had the most life-changing experience. I became a mom! And that changed everything. My husband and I got started on the Reliv products and experienced amazing health benefits. We began sharing with others and quickly felt called to do this full-time. In 2018, I left corporate America and our Reliv business was born. We now have three boys, and Reliv is an intricate part of our everyday life.
Balancing motherhood and life (aka being a mompreneur) can be challenging. But with Reliv, it’s fun and purposeful. While there is no magic wand to add twelve more hours to your day, this is a very doable business with a proven success system. I’ve put together a few practical ways that help me balance the calls of duty.
Start with your WHY. Make it visible and meditate on it regularly. This is your shining star to guide you around every corner. You’ve probably already experienced amazing life-changing results so now focus on why you want to share this gift with others.
Plug into the Reliv Success System. Glue yourself to your support team and they will teach you how to be successful. Take advanatge of the online tools, trainings and story calls. I use my smartphone and the Reliv Mobile App for 95% of my business.
Be confident and consistent. This comes with time. Just like raising my kiddos, I take my Reliv business very seriously. This is not a side hustle. I left a very generous corporate America job because of the Reliv opportunity. When you begin to demonstrate to others how important this is, the game will seriously change.
Block out time in your calendar. Every day looks a little different for me, whether it’s a 15-minute story call, an appointment, a team call, or a Saturday special event. I work it into our daily routine (nap time, after dinner, post bed time, etc.) and physically put it in our calendar. We use a shared Google Calendar for everything.
Schedule time in advance with your support team. This helps maximize time when meeting new people. It’s also easier to schedule an appointment if I already have my support team on my calendar. You never know when the opportunity to share Reliv will arise, so always be prepared!
Include the kiddos. I have fun making shakes with the kids every day and I also host a monthly shake playgroup at our home. Moms learn about Reliv and kids have supervised playtime. It’s a win-win for everyone!
What do you think? Can you implement these practical tips today? I encourage you to set aside 10-15 minutes of quiet time. Write down your WHY, goals, and commit to 90 days. You will become the best mompreneur you ever knew!

I am incredibly lucky that both of my kids love vegetables. They will eat Brussels sprouts, broccoli, asparagus, and cauliflower without smothering them in a cheesy sauce! However, even though we love eating our veggies, sometimes it is difficult to check all our boxes on the Fit3 Daily Snapshot. In fact, it’s not uncommon to make it to the end of the day with a serving or two left to fill.
While you probably don’t crave carrots with your morning coffee, breakfast is the perfect time to get an extra serving or two of colorful veggies and a healthy dose of vitamins and fiber. You do not have to add kale to your pancakes, but there are a ton of options beyond throwing mushrooms and peppers in your scrambled eggs.
Believe it or not, you can add veggies to your shake. If you still haven’t tried a green smoothie, you are seriously missing out! Throw a fistful of spinach into the blender with some milk, a banana, and Fit3 Active and you have the perfect combination of protein, carbs and fiber to energize your morning rush! Want to really step out of your comfort zone? Try some riced cauliflower in your shake! Avocados also add a unique creaminess to any Fit3 shake. You can always get recipe ideas on our Recipes Page.
Reliv’s Art Director, Amie Schilson, loves to add fresh carrots to her peach smoothies because it makes them look savory and infuses immunity-boosting nutrients and tummy-filling fiber. Pureed pumpkin, sweet potatoes and squash make your shake not only look pretty but taste amazing, too! And here’s a quick and easy tip: little jars of pureed vegetable baby food are perfectly-sized for throwing in your next shake.
The possibilities are endless when it comes to sneaking in those extra veggies! Best of all, you’ll definitely notice a difference in your day by getting those additional vitamins in the morning. I challenge YOU this week to add a vegetable to your daily shake! Share your favorite vegetable add-in to our Fit3 Facebook Group!
Did you know that as an Independent Reliv Distributor you must comply with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, Federal Trade Commission and Direct Selling Association regulations when it comes to advertising? So, what does that mean for you as a Distributor? It means that every time you promote your Reliv business—whether it’s on a website, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest or on a flyer—it needs to be compliant. There are many things you can do to remain in compliance when promoting your business. Here are some basic guidelines on how you can do this:
Describe the changes in your day-to-day life since starting on Reliv products and launching a Reliv business. Share your lifestyle improvements, such as having more family time or starting a new workout routine.
Highlight specific positive experiences like running a 5K or going on a Reliv trip!
Focus on improvements in general health and wellbeing, such as having more energy and feeling more accomplished each day.
Explain how you achieved success with the products, the business or both!
Remember, Reliv products provide optimal nutrition and target specific wellness needs for better overall health. Avoid giving the impression that Reliv will treat or cure any disease or medical condition.
Avoid listing diseases, medical conditions or symptoms. And avoid saying that Reliv has allowed you to avoid or discontinue the use of any prescription drugs or treatments.
Do not make guarantees about results others will achieve. Keep in mind everyone is different and individual results may vary!
By following these guidelines, you will enhance the Reliv brand image and build trust for your future customers and Distributors. These agencies are here to protect you as a consumer and help provide faith in products and businesses and we know it is not always an easy job. If you are ever in doubt as to what you can and cannot say, we are here to help you! You can always email firstname.lastname@example.org with your questions so you can promote and build your business with confidence.

Events are the lifeblood of your network marketing business. From shake parties and in-homes to opportunity meetings, conference calls and Facebook Lives, there are so many different types of business-building events nowadays! You may feel overwhelmed by the thought of promoting your next event, but it truly has never been easier to promote an event than now because of social media.
I’m not telling you to stop sending physical invitations or your favorite evite, but social media is the icing on the cake. Or should I say whipped cream on your Reliv shake? It’s that extra step to get you in front of the most new eyes as possible and can give you the extra wave of guests you need.
Setting up a Facebook event is actually super easy. You simply go to “Events” on the main Facebook homepage, click “Create Event,” and you’re ready to insert your information. Just make sure you create a public event so that anyone in your local area will be able to see it.
This is what you’ll see:
You can customize the entire event with your information and a description. I recommend including any information in the description that you think someone new to Reliv would need to know. Explain to them why this event is worth their time and what fun activities you have planned! Will there be a free shake bar? A free workout? I also recommend you use a high-quality photo from a previous event as the “Event Photo.” If you don’t have one you, check out what Reliv Corporate has available on Flickr.com/Reliv. Remember, this could be a prospect’s first impression of your business so make sure you keep it professional but exciting!
After you have your event set up on Facebook, promote, promote, promote! Marketing your event is crucial. Invite all your friends via Facebook and ask them to share it with their friends. If you invite 30 people and each of them invite 5-10 people, think about how successful your event can be. Sharing is key and will help you build up your brand on social media. Even if not everyone can make it, you are exposing them to your business just by inviting them.
Once you’ve promoted your event and invited as many people as you can, it’s always fun to post teasers in the event so that people know what to expect. For example, post a recipe that you will share with guests or ask them to choose between two. Get them involved and engaged prior to your event so they will be comfortable and more excited to attend your event. Build up the hype!
Events are so much fun and social media makes promoting them so easy. Make sure you tag us @Reliv International when you create an event on Facebook of your very own!
Congratulations, you just signed up as new Reliv Distributor, so let’s talk about what you need to do in the first 48 hours. If you haven’t done this already, your first step is to get with your upline and let them know what your goals are. For example, let’s say that your desire is to become a true entrepreneur and do Reliv full time. That was my goal when I first started, and it was the smartest thing that I ever did. Indeed, there is nothing like being your own boss and having the freedom in your life to work when you want, play when you want and never miss an important event again because you’re stuck at the office.
Now, if you have an amazing sponsor who is actively doing the business, you are on your way. Be a sponge. Learn from your upline and don’t hesitate to use them as you go out there and talk to new people. The truth is that all successful network marketers learn to master a set of very simple and repeatable skills.
For the purpose of this blog, let’s pretend for a moment that I’m your sponsor.
Now that I know you want to be your own boss and become a professional network marketer, let’s get started. Let’s begin by understanding that we need to treat our business like a business. I like to say, “See it big but keep it simple.” As entrepreneurs, we need to be both disciplined and focused, we need to be plugged into the company as well as our local systems, and we need to know how to find and use the fabulous tools that Reliv provides for us.
Speaking of, let’s go through the Reliv website starting with the product wheel so that we get a basic understanding of our powerful nutritional lineup. All of us begin with our core nutrition which is either Reliv Now® with Soy, Reliv Now® with Whey or Reliv Classic®. You must be a product of the product because you can’t sell what you don’t use or believe in. I go as far as to tell new folks that if they don’t love our products, you can’t be a Distributor.
The next thing I’m going to do with you is to go through our lucrative marketing plan so that you have a basic understanding on how you’re going to make money. Again, all of this information is readily available on our website, which makes teaching today so much easier than ever before. “I just show people how to push buttons,” said Reliv Hall of Famer Jim Schaben. “It’s so simple and duplicatable.”
Now that I know your goals and you have a basic understanding of our products and business, I want to go to the next step. So let’s get you signed up for the Reliv Mobile App, get you hooked up with your own Reliv Personal Website and dedicate a nice spot in your home to do your business. Having an organized area just for your Reliv business is important, and now that you’ve got all the right tools, you’re now ready for the next step. Let’s go through the basic training together. We call that ICSAR, and it stands for the five simple steps that we do over and over again: Identify, Connect, Share, Ask, and Register.
Let me mention, too, that when I’m showing new Distributors the Reliv Mobile App or the website, I let them do the navigation because it helps them learn faster. Also, in today’s world, you can go online and help your new prospects through these steps even if you live across town or across the world. That’s one of the major reasons that today’s network marketing is so much easier and more powerful than ever before!
And here’s the most important part: Together, I want to make a list of at least 50 people you know who either need these products or this opportunity. Then, we will begin calling them and setting appointments. The truth is, I know of no better way to teach you the business than being right there with you whether it’s in person or on the phone as we share the hope of Reliv with others. Furthermore, nothing gets a new person more excited than putting money in their pockets right away. And to keep you excited and on track during these first 48 hours, I’m also going to introduce you to leaders and stories throughout our close knit community so that you understand that you’re in business for yourself but not by yourself.
So that’s your first 48 hours! Our kickoff to building a mighty business together! And let’s not forget that as we go on this journey that we are going to have fun, get healthy, we will grow and change peoples’ lives, we will nourish the hungry with the Reliv Kalogris Foundation, and travel the world together! Indeed, we are going to do life together and put a dent in the universe. Here we go!
