What is ICSAR and How Can It Impact Your Business?

People are looking for new ways to work from home and make money. With an ever-changing world economic situation and current health concerns, being able to make supplemental income is on the minds of many.

Reliv is a fun and simple business that anyone can do, but as with any venture, there is work that must be done. We know from experience that structure is essential to any Reliv business.  You’ll see the fruits of your effort when you master these five repeatable steps:

Identify
Connect
Share
Ask
Register

To help remember the steps in order, we use the acronym “ICSAR.” When you master these, you are well on your way to building a successful and sustainable business. Let’s take a look at each of these steps and discuss how to put them to work for you.

Identify

Take the time to think about who you could tell about Reliv. You likely know hundreds, even thousands of people who don’t yet know about Reliv. Start by making a list of people you know. Start with just five people so you don’t get overwhelmed at first. Think about your social contacts, family and friends, etc. Your sponsor can help you build this list as you continue to grow and will encourage you to include everyone, even if you’re not sure they’ll be interested. You never know who might surprise you!

Take this time to work with your sponsor and establish a good working relationship. Reliv Distributors become lifelong friends for a reason, and this exercise will show you that you’re in business for yourself, but not by yourself.

Be sure to use the memory joggers in the online workbook from Reliv. Once you’ve got your list of names, you’re ready to Connect!

Connect

People do business with those that they know, like, and trust. When you connect with someone, make an effort to create enough interest that they will want to hear about Reliv. When you see the names on your list, connecting with each one might feel like a challenge. To give you a place to start, set a goal of how many people per day or week you want to connect with. We like starting with five people in the first few days of starting your new business. That is a very achievable goal and will give you the confidence to keep adding to your list as a start to make these connections.

You can connect with people virtually by using phone calls, text messages, social media or email. This is one of the reasons why Reliv is so perfect for those who want to make money from home; you can connect with potential customers by using technology!

The online workbook mentioned above offers ideas about what to say when you connect by phone or online. Reliv offers Success Training that provides strategies for connecting with people through social media, and explains how you can create your own custom marketing materials to promote your business. It’s all there for you!

Reliv Distributors are taking advantage of video conferences more and more!  It’s a great way to stay connected while working from home.

Share

Now that you’ve made a connection, it’s time to share your Reliv story! This is the part where you encourage others by telling them how the products and business opportunity have made an impact for you. Remember to represent Reliv with integrity; if you started out healthy and Reliv is helping you stay that way, share that! There’s no competition for sharing the best story. Share from your heart and you’ll do great!

When you share about your business, no income story is too small to share. Remember that earning an extra $500 per month would be life-changing for many people! Be sure to listen more than you talk, and give the other person a chance to ask questions. Provide just enough information about our company, products and the Reliv opportunity to engage your prospect and get to the next step.

Ask

A very important part of any conversation is the part where you ask how they’d like to get started with Reliv. It’s your prospect’s invitation to get clarification or share their thoughts. This part of the conversation will help you determine a person’s interest. Working with your sponsor/upline leaders, you’ll learn many ways to help a person get started with Reliv.

There are so many wonderful things about Reliv to share as you respond, but we recommend that you keep things simple. Make sure you’re familiar with Reliv’s products: Core Nutrition and Targeted Solutions, and that you can speak with authority about the basics of the Reliv compensation plan. And remember: we have a 100% Reliv Guarantee

You will get more and more comfortable at doing this and we have tools to help you do this from day one. You’ve asked the questions, you have a decision, now it’s time to conduct business! To share videos, use the Reliv App as you can track whether or not they’ve watched the video and even for how long!

Register

Once a person has made a decision, it’s time to take action. Register your new customer or Distributor with the company. If you have product on hand, get them started immediately! The forms you’ll need are available online or through the Reliv App. Set up your follow-up communications, and check in with them to see if they have any questions or feedback. Finally, begin to repeat this process and provide them with the tools they need to get started with ICSAR as well!

If you get these steps right, your business will move and your team will be in momentum. Remember to share these five steps with new people and help them to understand the importance of repeatable action! We can’t wait to celebrate your success!

Slaying the Debt Monster

Seven in 10 American families are in debt. In other words, they live beyond their means, spending more than they earn. Using debt to purchase goods has become so common that many people simply accept debt as their reality.

If you’ve got reoccurring debt payments (auto, mortgage, student loans, etc.), you’ve already given away that much of your paycheck each month before you’ve even earned the money. It’s spoken for and you’ll never be able to use it to achieve your dreams. If you’re making payments on a credit card or student loan, it’s time to get serious about evicting these money pits from your family budget. And don’t be fooled into thinking that mortgages and car payments are “good” debt. Instead of concerning yourself with building a high credit score by making monthly payments, get these debts paid off and start to build a stockpile of actual money!

Because of Reliv: I Can Follow My Passion for Photography

Reliv has allowed me to pursue a passion for nature photography. I’d never have been able to do it without the time, freedom and resources that Reliv has given me. The cameras that I use for wildlife photography are very expensive, but I’m able to afford them because of my Reliv business. I always take my camera when I travel to tell people about Reliv. It allows me to capture images all over the place. I even took photos of endangered whooping cranes while at the National Conference in Austin, Texas.

Ties That Bind: Reliv Keeps Military Families Close Despite the Miles

Jodye Cary met her future husband, Justin, at Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, Georgia. They stayed friends after graduation and started dating only two weeks before he traveled to Korea for a year with the US Air Force. “We knew it would be tough, but also that it would be worth it,” Jodye says.

During Justin’s deployment, Jodye grew closer to his sister, Jocelyn. They took a family vacation to Thailand in March 2012 and everything changed for Jodye. “We were terribly jet-lagged when we arrived,” Jodye says. “Jocelyn gave me a shot of 24K™ and I felt much better in only 10 minutes! I wasn’t jittery at all so I took it for several days to help with the jet lag.” Jodye had seen Jocelyn with 24K before but didn’t really know what it was. One night over dinner, Jocelyn shared her Reliv story with Jodye.

“She told me about the company and the amazing business opportunity,” Jodye recalls. “Jocelyn said it was great for military spouses because you can take your business with you as you move around the country.” The business opportunity appealed to Jodye, who knew that she was about to become a military wife and would spend years on the move.

Embracing the Opportunity
Once back from Thailand, Jocelyn encouraged Jodye to become a Distributor, reminding her that friends and family who were interested in optimal health could benefit and get her business started. “I immediately thought of my sister, Alyssa,” Jodye says. “She had health problems growing up and was always interested in doing anything she could to maintain good health.”

Within a few weeks, all three women were on a conference call discussing the potential of running a Reliv business. Jodye signed up and soon after, so did Alyssa. They make a point of chatting frequently from their stations in Florida, Texas, and Hawaii, sharing business tips and stories of the results they hear about from their customers.

Keeping In Touch
“Reliv has been so huge for our families,” Jodye says. “I’m so thankful for technology. We catch up and talk so much more because of Reliv and it makes us feel closer than ever. We call or text to talk about our businesses every day and it holds us together as a family when we’re living so far apart.”

Jocelyn’s husband, Ian, is in the Army and returned from a long deployment the day after the Austin Conference ended. They’re preparing to move from Texas with their three children, but Jocelyn knows that she can take her business with her. “We’ve always thought that the military is an untapped wealth of people who need to know about Reliv,” Jocelyn says. “You can make connections no matter where you live and take them with you as people move from base to base. It’s perfect for a military spouse.”

Reporting for Duty
Alyssa’s husband, Carl, is also in the Army and they’re preparing for a move from Tampa to California this summer with their four children. “Our husbands all take Reliv and they frequently outperform the other men in their units,” she says. Carl has been on deployment for nearly a year, and Alyssa has found that her Reliv business is a great outlet while he’s away. “It has kept him healthier and stronger while deployed,” Alyssa says, “He even completed the Dead Sea marathon the day after Reliv’s Austin  Conference and helped to pace the other soldiers. It’s a testament to Reliv!”

Jodye reports that Justin recently completed the Great Wall of China Marathon, a brutal feat of endurance that involves stairs. “He told me that everyone else was in bed, totally depleted the day after the marathon,” Jodye says, “but not Justin! He was able to walk around and sightsee because of Reliv! It gives him great stamina and energy for physical challenges and helps with soreness after a workout. I’m so glad to have something to send him and especially thrilled that Reliv ships to APO addresses so we can  keep our service people all over the world in good supply!”
