The main lesson of the book to me was looking at the question behind the question or what to really ask yourself. It boils down to asking the right questions and practicing personal accountability at home and in our Reliv business.
Did this book give you any new ideas about yourself?
This book taught me to look at the questions that I ask myself. After years in the military and now in a Reliv business, I find myself in the trap that many others have fallen in – the victim thinking. Questions like “Why don’t you coach me more?” or “Why don’t we get some new products?” are the wrong questions to ask. They are questions that come from the mentality of a victim.
Did this book remind you of anything that has happened to you? What? Why?
Yes, stress is choice. When I ask questions like “why is this happening to me?” I feel as if I have no control. This leads all of us to a victim mindset, which is extremely stressful. Even in cases where we actually are victims and our feelings seen justified, “Why me?” thinking only adds to the stress.

I have learned to incorporate questions like “How can I adapt to the changing world?” or “What can I do to develop myself?” or “How can I help?” and the best “What can I do today to excel at my Reliv business?” These questions lead you to practice personal accountability, which is the key to any success at home or work.
