A: Every morning, I take Reliv Protect Hemp + LunaRich X, Reliv Defense, Burn, ReversAge and Innergize! Lower Sugar. I also drink a shake with Reliv Now, Arthaffect, FibRestore and Active. A: I would say that Reliv chose me thanks to a friend who shared it with me. The best decision I made was to choose Reliv back! The results were the reason I chose Reliv back and I will not ever let go!

A: My results include more energy, a stronger immune system, and quicker recovery with exercise. I can do more activities than all of my grandchildren!

A: My advice to a new Distributor is to keep moving forward and never quit. Every step you take is forward motion. Be excited every day!

Reliv Director Erin Muhlestein

My name is Erin Muhlestein and I live in Gilbert, Arizona, with my wonderful husband and four amazing boys. Seventeen years ago I was a mom praying for answers for her children’s health when I was introduced to Reliv by a close friend. We had two boys battling various respiratory issues. Lots of things were offered to us, but nothing seemed to really work until we tried Reliv. Within a couple of months of being consistent on the products, we were able to see noticeable changes with all the respiratory issues our boys were experiencing.

Both our boys have remained symptom-free for the past 17 years. Since then we have had amazing results with other health challenges our family has faced. This business is not about selling a product, but offering others hope and an opportunity and then allowing them to make whatever choice is best for them and their families. When you lead with love you will never fail. Reliv is a company with a heart and that is what drew me in at first. The support, honesty, and love I have felt over the years have been what has kept me going. There are a lot of nutritional options out there, but there is only one Reliv!

A: South Jordan, Utah

A: I take an Arthaffect shake every morning, along with LunaRich X capsules. Around noon I drink a shake with Reliv Now. Later in the day, I take Innergize!.

Q: Why did you choose Reliv?

A: My friend told me about Reliv and I loved the results and long-term benefits.

Q: What results have you seen?

A: I started using Reliv because I was suffering from joint discomfort, which has improved a great deal. The swelling in my joints came down and the discomfort eased up right away. Then I discovered other products such as Now and Innergize!. I have had more energy and seem to sleep better. When friends noticed the improvement and asked me what I was doing, I told them about the wonderful products.

A: It has been great to share my results with friends and family. Besides just feeling better, I have had such joy hearing from friends who say they are feeling better. A: I have just shared my health improvements with others. Health is a common topic of conversation lately, and when I tell others to give it a try and share my success, it seems to work. Q: What is your advice for a new Distributor?

A: I’m a new Distributor, and am still learning the business. I believe that taking advice from those who have been in the business for a long time has been the best way to learn. The many testimonials are inspiring. I ask a lot of questions.

 

Reliv Director Jennine Hall

Hi, my name is Jennine Hall, I am a Mohawk from the Akwesasne territory located on the US/Canada border. I was a Reliv Distributor around 15 years ago but recently got back into it when I made the decision to stop letting life just happen to me, and take control of the things I can, like my health. 

Over the years I have developed digestive issues, allergies, other health concerns, and gained a lot of weight. 

I changed the way I eat and started getting more exercise. I knew that would not be enough to reach my long-term goals. I was thinking about what I could do to supplement my nutrition when I looked down in my hand at the cup I was drinking my smoothie out of. It was an old Reliv cup I still had from 15 years ago! I got online to check out the Reliv website and saw all the new and original products they have. I thought, “Wow all this stuff could benefit several members of my family!”

I made the decision to become a Distributor again to get the best prices and I placed a big order so I had plenty to share with the family. My first group of customers were not hard to convince, because they had all used the product before. I started with the Reliv Classic, FibRestore, and Innergize! Lower Sugar. I’ve since added GlucAffect and Arthaffect. Now that I am back at work instead of teaching remotely I am taking Reliv Defense, too. 

The first result I noticed is an increase in energy. I haven’t needed a nap in a few weeks, and I sleep through the night now. I have also noticed the absence of discomfort in my feet and legs from walking around on concrete floors all day at work. The discomfort has eased up in my shoulder and hip. My blood sugar is in a healthy range, and I continue to lose weight at a steady rate. 

I have shared the products with several family members now, and have signed up two family members to be Distributors, also. Q: What’s your hometown?

A: Hi, my name is Loren Hallenbeck and this is me NOW thanks to Reliv! I was born in Bolivia, but was raised in Alexandria, Virginia. Currently, I live in Texas with my husband and two young boys.

Q: What is your Reliv regimen? 

A: My Reliv regimen has changed over the years. I started with the Mighty Three (Classic, Innergize!, and FibRestore), and now I have added a few Reliv Targeted Solutions like SoySentials and LunaRich X capsules. I’ve also added Arthaffect and Innergize! at nighttime.

Q: Why did you choose Reliv?

A: To have better health! 

Q: What results have you seen?

A: Prior to Reliv, I suffered from headaches, digestive issues and a lack of energy.  Within a few months, I noticed that I was sleeping better, my headaches and digestion improved and I just felt healthier.  My most recent health journey occurred right when Covid hit. I began to have intense PMS pains and in March 2020, I noticed a bump on my lower abdomen. I had major surgery to remove the tumors found in my abdomen and was diagnosed with a rare Ovarian cancer called Carcinosarcoma, Stage 3. I was 39 years old. Thankfully, my oncologist was on board with me taking Reliv from day one, and I believe the basic nutrition Reliv provides helped me recover quickly from the surgery. Reliv was my main supplement to help me throughout my chemotherapy & immunotherapy treatments. Today I’m in remission and I am so thankful to have been introduced to Reliv!

A: First, I have been working closely with my upline to grow my business. We are a team and we help each other! My upline has guided me and helped me grow since I started. Q: Why did you choose Reliv?

A: Fortunately, my parents were introduced to Reliv when my mom was experiencing discomfort from an autoimmune condition more than 30 years ago. After seeing how significantly my mom’s health improved, they encouraged me to take the products, and I’m so glad they did! 

Q: What results have you seen?

A: I have taken Reliv for 24 years consistently. I grew up having a lot of headaches. After taking Reliv, the number and severity of headaches I get has decreased significantly. My seasonal upper respiratory challenges are better. Reliv has helped me get through a lot of discomfort due to a bulging disc in my neck. I feel really healthy overall, and know Reliv is a big reason.

A: Being healthy has always been one of the most important things to me. I grew up taking dance lessons for 10 years, and skied and hiked when I lived in Colorado. Hello, my name is Kathy Gorby, and I am from St. Marys, Ohio. This is me Now! More than 8 years ago, I had the normal aches and pains of aging. I was also living with nerve and back discomfort, allergies, and feeling blue. Then a friend introduced me to Reliv, and it changed my life. She introduced me to all these amazing stories. 

My first thought was, “These people are real! How have I not heard about Reliv?” Then my second thought was, “What could Reliv do for me?” I got started on the products and originally paid full price for two months of product. I was wondering if I wouldn’t stick with it, as I had tried so many other things. After all, I believed in nutrition, but this was different. Within a very short time of taking Reliv products, I had more energy and a sense of wellbeing I hadn’t had for a very long time. 

The third month, I came in at the Master Affiliate level as I knew I would never go without these products again so I wanted the best price. I started sharing with others as my excitement grew. Their excitement grew, and they starting telling other people. Within the first six months, I became a Senior Director by helping others. I started with the Mighty Three: Reliv Now, Innergize!, and FibRestore. I stayed consistent with the products and felt great. My circulation, nerve and back discomfort, and allergies have all improved over time and I feel happier. I added hours to my day because I had more energy. Two years ago, I had a whiplash injury to my neck from a boating incident. I noticed my neck discomfort increased with physical activity. Everyone wants something! They will tell you if you listen and make it about them! Sometimes we plant seeds of hope, sometimes we need to water that seed, sometimes it needs to be fertilized. Doris Leissing would say, “Walk with the walkers and run with the runners.” It makes sense to me now! Embrace the learning curve and don’t do it alone! Don’t be afraid to share the stories to help people understand what Reliv can do for them. 

Customers are important. We know this because we own and operate a hotel. If we don’t have customers, we don’t have a business. Simply buying another hotel won’t increase revenue by itself. This past year has been tough on many businesses, including the hospitality industry. Most people can do without travel; it is one of the first things they cut from their budget. However, people will always need to eat and want to be healthy. 

Supplementation has never been more important in empowering our immunity. I look at my nutrition as my main food by adding healthy food choices. I recently introduced a friend to Reliv, and her excitement turned into 12 people on the products, with Anna and Jimmy McMurry joining as Master Affiliates and then becoming Directors last month. The excitement grew through stories and results. It was fun to work with these folks. That is what I want moving forward with Reliv—the excitement of empowering others! Top Skill Set for a Network Marketer

People ask me all the time what the number one skill a professional network marketer needs to have. Well, it’s really pretty simple—people need to know that you care. There’s an old saying that puts it this way: “People don’t care about how much you know until they know how much you care.”

Think of it as relationship creation. The more friends you have, the bigger you can grow your network. It could even be said that high earners get paid for the relationships that they have with their top leaders. Don’t think of it as “I need to sponsor,” but rather, “I need to make a new friend, and I want to help them to a healthier and happier life.”

By recognizing this very important step, you will go from “salesie” to sincere. The most successful Distributors quickly find out what people want and go to work immediately to see that they get it. In other words, find out what their needs are, offer them a solution, and show them how you can help. This simple action is essential to starting a relationship with your customers and Distributors, and it’s these actions that will show them that you care.

Isn’t it true that in the beginning all of us wanted to know what Reliv could do for us? That’s why the more personal and engaging the conversation is the more effective it will be. If you don’t develop meaningful relationships with others, you’ll never know what’s on their minds. “Our greatest resource is our people,” says Reliv CEO, Ryan Montgomery. “Reliv will always be a people and relationship business.”

With that said, doesn’t it make sense to find out what people need, offer them a solution, and show them your willingness to help? How to Face Your Fears as an Entrepreneur

What was I so afraid of? Have you ever asked yourself that question, and isn’t is usually once you’ve tackled something and pushed through it?

A character in a novel I’m currently reading just spoke these words of advice to a young friend: “Don’t follow fear. Fear makes you stupid.” I thought these words were poignant, especially given the context. The character spent twenty years of his adult life walling himself off from fear and risk. His fear was the risk of loving, and it made me think that often times our fear is the risk of doing.

No doubt, fear and risk are our partners when we start our businesses or take action to actually build them. When we risk believing in ourselves, our products and business model, we fear the outcome as we step into the unknown and take chances with our future.

We fear the unknown.

What appears to be the easier, more secure way tempts us back into the known with every step we take. It invites us back into the box we’ve made for ourselves, even though it may be a box we’ve long outgrown and often hated.

It seems such an easy choice to return to that box…to take a job and give over our future career and professional life to some corporation’s keeping. For some of us, “the known” may mean working for someone else, and for others, “the known” may involve not having worked outside the home. That’s our box, and we know it well. Who wants to chance living outside of it?

Many, if not most, of the spoken and unspoken excuses thrown my way from prospects and Distributors over the years revolve around the fear of the unknown path that network marketing seems to represent. The business of working with and through others to reach joint goals just seems too risky. The business of growing oneself and helping others do the same seems too fearful. Many of us crave the seeming security of a job that rarely pays us what we’re worth or provides the long term security we seek. We’re afraid to take the step, chase the dream, and choose freedom.

Funny, once we’ve taken steps away from fear and dared the unknown, we find there’s a path to follow and a clearer direction for our future than we expected. We realize there’s a large company of wonderful friends for our new journey.

Fear can indeed make us “stupid”— unaware of our prospects, uncertain of our steps, unsure of our own value. Action in the face of that fear … refusing to follow it … awakens us to knowledge and growth and purpose. Our future success becomes our own to build.

Why Listening is Key to Good Communication

For many years, I have written and spoken about the importance of communication and how it is the single most significant thing to master if you want to become a professional network marketer. After all, it’s what our business is all about. Reliv makes our amazing products, and it’s up to us to tell the world about them.

In my experience, there is no better way to present our products than to wrap it around a human being. When we talk about the Reliv difference and present it from our hearts, it comes off as it should — authentic. Good communicators tend to spread the word quickly and reap the financial rewards of this industry at rocket speed. However, after being in this business for as long as I have, I’ve found that new Distributors have a tendency to over-communicate or talk too much. If you see your neighbors skedaddling out their back door when they see you coming, you’re probably overdoing it. Or, if you’re “that someone” who brings a flip chart to Thanksgiving dinner and starts showing the compensation plan, you probably need to reconsider your tactics.

It’s impossible to become a great leader without being a great communicator. Notice I didn’t say great talker because there’s a big difference. To be a good communicator you must first become a good listener. That’s why God gave you two ears and one mouth. He expects you to listen twice as much as you talk. Good listeners are worth their weight in gold. They understand that they can never learn anything while they are talking. The key to being a good listener is to take a sincere interest in the other person. People enjoy talking about themselves and their families, and while they’re talking, it’s the perfect opportunity to gain invaluable knowledge — by simply listening. In other words, find out what people want and then go to work and help them get it. If this becomes your strategy, you will build an organization that stretches around the globe.

Many times, people will tell you that they’re unhappy with their jobs, or that they work too much, or that they don’t like their boss, or that they don’t have enough money to send their children to college. Such comments give you the perfect lead-in to talk about the opportunity available to them in Reliv.

Never forget that what you say is never as important as how you say it. If you’re excited, you’ll never go wrong. People are always attracted to people who love what they are doing. Learn to talk from your heart and not your head. People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care, so never miss an opportunity to zip it up and listen! The greatest form of discourse takes place within a conversation, and not a lecture. And let’s also remember that good communication skills include letters, emails, and texts.

Most people have not been taught how to properly communicate the value of products and opportunity within our industry. Focus on the benefits 80% of the time and the details 20% of the time. Most people have this reversed. Talk in ways that personalize solutions:

• “My products can help you lose weight and feel great!”
• “My products can help you fit into your skinny jeans, sleep better and have more energy.”
• “My business can help you supplement your retirement income.”
• “My business can help you spend more quality time with your kids and be a hands-on mom.”
• “My business can help you make a real difference in people’s lives.”

In other words, sell the destination and not the airplane. People want to know what Reliv will do for them. The more personal and engaging the conversation is the more effective it will be. If you don’t develop meaningful relationships with others, you’ll never know what’s really on their minds.

When I first heard about the three areas of Reliv—help people get healthy with optimal nutrition, teach others how to earn an income and nourish thousands of hungry children around the world—I knew that this was a company that I wanted to work with. All my passions are put together in one place!

As a nurse, I understand the role nutrition plays in our bodies and the importance of having it balanced for a healthy and preventative lifestyle. As part of my healthy lifestyle before Reliv, I worked out, drank smoothies, took many multivitamins, protein shakes, etc. When I learned that some Reliv products are Halal, gluten-free, and clinically-proven plant-based formulas, it got me so excited! Halal supplements are very important to me and not always easy to find.

How I Conquer Motherhood & Entrepreneurship

Have you ever thought about becoming a Reliv Distributor? Well, I sure didn’t. In fact, for two years I said “no” on multiple occasions. I was a young, career-focused woman, enjoying city life with my husband. We were living a fairly healthy lifestyle and definitely were not looking for another job. But it’s funny how things happen because it wasn’t too long before I had the most life-changing experience. I became a mom! And that changed everything. My husband and I got started on the Reliv products and experienced amazing health benefits. We began sharing with others and quickly felt called to do this full-time. In 2018, I left corporate America and our Reliv business was born. We now have three boys, and Reliv is an intricate part of our everyday life.

Balancing motherhood and life (aka being a mompreneur) can be challenging. But with Reliv, it’s fun and purposeful. While there is no magic wand to add twelve more hours to your day, this is a very doable business with a proven success system. I’ve put together a few practical ways that help me balance the calls of duty.

Start with your WHY. Make it visible and meditate on it regularly. This is your shining star to guide you around every corner. You’ve probably already experienced amazing life-changing results so now focus on why you want to share this gift with others.

Plug into the Reliv Success System. Glue yourself to your support team and they will teach you how to be successful. Take advanatge of the online tools, trainings and story calls. I use my smartphone and the Reliv Mobile App for 95% of my business.

Be confident and consistent. This comes with time. Just like raising my kiddos, I take my Reliv business very seriously. This is not a side hustle. I left a very generous corporate America job because of the Reliv opportunity. When you begin to demonstrate to others how important this is, the game will seriously change.

Block out time in your calendar. Every day looks a little different for me, whether it’s a 15-minute story call, an appointment, a team call, or a Saturday special event. I work it into our daily routine (nap time, after dinner, post bed time, etc.) and physically put it in our calendar. We use a shared Google Calendar for everything.

Schedule time in advance with your support team. This helps maximize time when meeting new people. It’s also easier to schedule an appointment if I already have my support team on my calendar. You never know when the opportunity to share Reliv will arise, so always be prepared!

Include the kiddos. I have fun making shakes with the kids every day and I also host a monthly shake playgroup at our home. Moms learn about Reliv and kids have supervised playtime. It’s a win-win for everyone!

I evaluated Reliv during my entrepreneurship studies and compared them to various corporations and business models and was thoroughly impressed by many aspects of the organization: the integrity and values of corporate leaders, the honorable mission toward better health, and ultimately the quality of Reliv’s people. I am able to exercise my entrepreneurial spirit and invest in my future while offering a substantial solution to people’s health challenges.

As I was finishing college, I worked to develop a start-up business plan, but soon realized the massive time and energy investments needed to implement and sustain a start-up. Regardless of how thorough you are, you still face odds of uncertainty, assume all the risk, and there is no guarantee for success. Through Reliv, I found a business with all the framework established and a huge support structure in place. You are in business for yourself, but in no way by yourself. You simply plug into the success system, which people before you have followed to success.

Because of this network, I was able to achieve the rank of Director. My mentors taught me to be open to coaching and to follow through with every customer. As you invest in people’s lives, you’re building a vision for them, one step at a time, sharing pieces of the puzzle. Never interrupt this momentum, keep your focus on their next step and see it through. I can’t wait to teach my downline the same lesson.

In the future, I want to make it to Ambassador Level. I will not invest my career with any other company.  I am committed. I am a Reliv Ambassador in the making!
