A direct selling industry friend recently visited Reliv and told us, “With your products and people, Reliv is the best kept secret in the industry.” It’s time to change that.

Let’s start by looking at the facts. Direct selling is booming and wellness products are the fastest-growing sector in direct sales.

“You don’t build a business — you build people — and then people build a business.” – Zig Ziglar

Reliv invests in YOU. Our fundamental business strategy is to provide you, our partners, with the support, tools and personal development resources to succeed. And then you do the same with people you invest in. When you invest in people, you build relationships, and relationships lead to retention.

People are the most valuable asset of any business, and Reliv is no different. Our top priority always has been and always will be bringing in new people. It’s the lifeblood of your business. Sponsoring is the first needle to move, and it triggers sales, advancements, check growth and profits. The most important person in the room is the new person seeing Reliv for the first time.

Environment

Environment creates success, not vice versa.

The most important thing you can do to build a big organization is create an environment of excitement, momentum and success. You can do everything else right, but if you foster a dull environment, no one will join you. Leaders create a dynamic, supportive, fun environment that people want to be a part of and can’t wait to introduce to their friends and family.

Reliv corporate presents an image and operates according to core values, but you are the real face of Reliv. You’re on the front line. You are the messengers. So be the kind of person you want to attract and project an image of your business that welcomes everyone, regardless of age, background or occupation. There is a place for everyone in Reliv.

Simplicity

“Simple can be harder than complex: You have to work hard to get your thinking clean to make it simple. But it’s worth it in the end because once you get there, you can move mountains.” — Steve Jobs

In a world that’s become more complex, companies that have figured out how to make things simple are winning the day. If you think your message is simple and understandable, keep working to further simplify.

The direct selling industry consists mostly of part-timers, working their business alongside a full-time occupation. They are busy people. So we must present a message and opportunity that instantly appeals, connects and leads to action.

Simple is duplicable by others. Successful Reliv Distributors do a few simple things over and over. They focus on the fundamentals. They use the energy and enthusiasm of new people to keep from getting tired of repeating the same message. Leaders make complicated things simple, period. And simple creates speed and momentum in your business.

Belief

Telling someone, “Believe in yourself” is often easier said than done. Perhaps the alternative is “Do work you can believe in.” — Seth Godin

Belief in what you’re doing is really the first thing that must happen. With Reliv that involves five key components: (1) the mission, (2) the products, (3) the business opportunity, (4) the people and (5) the strategy to make it all happen. We want you to believe as strongly as we do in the opportunity we have to change lives, starting with yours.

Success begins with two beliefs: (1) the future can be better than the present and (2) I have the power to make it so. If you believe in the work you’re doing, keep things simple and focused on the fundamentals, create an environment that people want to be a part of, and invest in people and relationships, you have the power to do great things in Reliv.
