Reliv Book Club: Don Gibbons

I have a full library of books, both fiction and non-fiction. I read almost every day; it’s the last thing I do before dropping off to sleep. What’s interesting is that now much of my reading happens on a Kindle, which I have mixed emotions about! I’ve built an electronic library, but it’s hard to display!

When it comes to books affecting “what you do” in life, everyone is different. What may connect with one person can do a complete “fly-by” on another. I find that in reading a new business book, if I can learn one or two things that may help me move in a positive forward direction, then the reading was worth the effort.

I first read my recommendation as an audio book, and I still listen to it from time to time.

Title: Lead the Field

Author: Earl Nightingale

What is the main lesson you learned from this book? The one thing you are in control of every day is your attitude. The attitude you have will be reflected back at you by the people you are interacting with. First thing every day, set your attitude.

This book is an ideal pick for:  Who should listen to or read this book? Only someone who seeks improvement.

A quote that stood out to me: “You become what you think about.”

  1. I just love Don’s quote: “you become what you think about”. How true that is. As a business builder with Reliv, I have become more aligned with the business opportunity that only Reliv gives one. I know that the products work, so when so many are either out of work or unhappy in their work, I can’t help but think what a better way to get out of debt, become financially free, and be as healthy as you can be, all at the same time.
Thanks to Reliv and to the outstanding Team that has help me be better than I have ever been before.
    BZ and God bless.
