No pain, no gain; at least when it comes to cayenne pepper, that is. Research has found that the cayenne pepper has several health benefits that can help give you a nutritional boost.   • Capsaicin reduces cholesterol while regulating blood flow to the entire body. It also increases the body’s ability to dissolve fibrin, a substance integral to the formation of blood clots.   1. When I make my NOW shake, I like to blend it with low-sodium vegetable juice. Before mixing, I add a little cayenne pepper powder, cinnamon, tumeric, and ground ginger. It has a wonderful, warm flavor, and it’s a great wake-me-up in the morning or pick-me-up snack in the afternoon.
