Conference Doesn’t Cost – It PAYS

No question, conference is a significant financial and time investment in your business. But there are many ways to make the experience affordable. Here are some tips from the most seasoned Distributors:

● Hitch a ride.Gather a large group and pool your resources to rent a van or bus. Not only will you save money on gas, but you will also have the opportunity to network and share ideas in the car on the way to St. Louis, and again on the way home!

● Find a roommate.Save money by sharing a hotel room with other Distributors. Bunk up by bringing a sleeping bag or an air mattress.

● Bring some rations. Dining out for every meal can be expensive. Pack a cooler with healthy snacks to keep you going throughout the events. (Don’t forget your Relivables® Healthy Granola Bars!) You’ll save money and time!

  1. I carry snacks in my bag too…and ziplocks of product to make shacks. Water in conference or get a ice water when out. Shakes can go a long way and save you buying as much food.

Don’t miss out on time with your line though. Invaluable times for us to get to know them since all in different states so only talk on phone. Even if you split a meal or get a small salad instead of a big meal…you are there.

Our line does a lot of price-lining rooms and sharing them. If you all do buy them the same time period and amount – you can get lucky and end up on same floor or hotel.

Thnk about several diving together. See some sites on the way…see lovely country and not as far as you think. Had fun driving through ‘Shaben and Pence territory’ 🙂 Visit some historic homes and sites. Presidential libraries too in Illinois, Missouri and Kansas. One year we took our high school daughter and scheduled college visits across – she is now in Omaha from that visit and loving it. She hung out at the hotel and pool, went out to meals with us – getting to know people we work with and names she knows. Hopped the bus to the zoo and free art museum.
These trips can be a lot of fun – as well as further your business.
