I have been using my Reliv Personal Web Site (PWS) to build my organization, and it has been a real asset to my business. When I saw the PWS booth at International Conference in 2009, I knew right away that I wanted one. The website has given me a whole new level of exposure! I’m using my PWS to transition from “mom” to “businesswoman” – often all in one day. I keep my laptop on my kitchen counter when I am at home. It is always open to my Personal Web Site, so everyone sees it when they come in.
One thing I do to target specific prospects is change the featured product or story to address a need they have. Then, I bring my laptop with me to the presentation, and show them around the site. It is so professional looking and the content can be updated and changed, making it a dynamic piece. When I’m finding words awkward, or if a prospect is hesitant to meet with me, my beautiful website helps me say it all! In fact, I had a neighbor who was always turning me down whenever I tried to meet with him. I encouraged him to check out my site and I sent him the URL. Once he saw how professional the site was, he was impressed. He called me and set up a meeting!
The site is also a great resource for my current customers. Everyone seems to be on the go, and schedules are often hectic. With the option for them to order online anywhere, anytime (even in the middle of the night) my customers who simply don’t have time to pick up the phone during the day, can place their orders through the site.
Of course, the PWS will never replace the face-to-face relationship building that is so important to the Reliv business. It does, however, enable you to make your meeting more personal!
