Meet Our Ambassadors: Tom and Linda Tighe

Tighe2Family views Reliv as a ‘blessing’

Reliv Silver Ambassadors Tom and Linda Tighe of Beavercreek, OH, say they started to envision themselves as Ambassadors with the company in 1996, when they initially saw Reliv’s business plan. They credit their success to consistently balancing their family and work life, a goal that Reliv makes possible, and even encourages. “The Reliv business has given us the time freedom to be more hands-on as parents and be more flexible,” says Tom, a former aerospace engineer who retired five years ago so that he and Linda could focus their energies on building their Reliv business together and raising their four children, who range in age from 13 to 21.

“To achieve and maintain success in this business, you have to understand that it’s not a sprint, but a marathon,” adds Linda, a stay-at-home mom who has home-schooled their three youngest children through the elementary grades.

A Family Affair

She and Tom agree that bringing their children along for the steady progression of success with Reliv has provided teaching moments that will last a lifetime.

“As we’ve partnered with new people to reach the next level, teaching them this business and celebrating their successes with them, our kids have come to understand the value of a work ethic,” Tom explains. “They are part of this team, and they’ve been able to enjoy some of the fruits of our labors, including vacations and attending Christian high school.”

More Than a Business

Even more important, Linda says, has been the opportunity to serve others.
“Reliv is a mission-oriented business, a blessing network,” she says. “Through our work, we can help address the two biggest prayer requests: help with health concerns, which are often shared, and requests for financial help, which are often those unspoken prayers.”

Tom and Linda say that their paycheck is finally catching up with their attitude about Reliv, but they believe even the financial rewards of the Reliv business bring a deeper meaning to their lives.

“When your success is directly tied to the success of other people with whom you’ve developed relationships, the rewards are even greater,” says Linda. “We thank God for Reliv.”
